Love Your Husband: Week Two Mom Tips

“Let all that you do be done in Love.” 1 Corinthians 16:14

The Wise Woman Builds Her Spirit!

  • Write 1 Thessalonians 2:7-8 on your notecards or bathroom mirror. I especially like the NASB translation. Memorize the verses by the end of the week.
  • Play praise and worship music in your car this week while running errands. Dig deeper by listening to the Bible on CD.

The Wise Woman Loves Her Husband!

  • Spend 10 minutes every morning praying Scripture over your husband.
    Here are some suggestions:
Proverbs 18–Listen without interruptions. James 1:19–Speak without accusing.
Proverbs 21:26–Give without sparing. Colossians 1:9–Pray without ceasing.
Proverbs 17:1–Answer without arguing. Ephesians 4:15–Share without pretending.
Philippians 2:14–Enjoy without complaint. 1 Corinthians 13:7–Trust without wavering.
Colossians 3:13–Forgive without punishing. Proverbs 13:12–Promise without forgetting.

The Wise Woman Loves Her Children!

  • Let your children take turns recording Micah 6:8 on your phone. Play it over and over until you all have it memorized. Celebrate your accomplishment by going to a new park, taking your kids for frozen yogurt, or going on another fun outing.

The Wise Woman Cares For Her Home!

  • Dust the baseboards and remove the cobwebs from the light fixtures this week. Baby wipes and used dryer sheets and make great tools to catch the dust in hard-to-reach places in your home.
  • Plan an afternoon of self-care quiet time before your kids come home from school or during nap time. Make yourself a cup of tea and find a place to sit down for a few minutes. Clear your mind of all the things you need to do, and just enjoy the quiet and your hot beverage.
