Summer Week 12 Mom Tips

“The wise woman builds her house.” Proverbs 14:1a

The Mom Tips are meant to enhance your life and role as a Christian wife, mom, discipler of your children, homemaker, and friend.

Pray about which ideas to try and keep this list on your fridge all week. Check them off as you accomplish them. Complete all of the Mom Tips or pick one to finish.

We all are in different stages of our lives. You do you! Do what you can and celebrate the fact that you added something new to enhance your life!

The Wise Woman Builds Her Spirit:

  • Do you attend a Small Group or Sunday School class at your church? If not, I encourage you to seek one out this Sunday. Pray and read Hebrews 10:24-25, Acts 2:46 and Ephesians 4:15-16.

The Wise Woman Loves Her Husband:

  • Pray for your husband this week. Specifically pray Daniel 3:8-30 to give him Courage as he goes through his week, Proverbs 18:12 to help him admit his need for God and Galatians 5:23 to unite his heart with God. Remember to journal about any experience you have this week while you pray.

The Wise Woman Loves Her Children:

  • Allow for unstructured playtime for your children this week. Set aside some blocks of time in your family schedule to allow your children to just play! Encourage them to be creative and don’t worry about the mess that might be manufactured. It can always be cleaned up. In fact, set a timer and see how much you can clean up in a designated amount of time.

The Wise Woman Cares For Her Home:

  • Wash all the windows in your home, inside and out. Pay close attention to the tracks the windows sit in and clean them put fully. Clean windows bring a whole new brightness into the home.

  1. I LOVE these ideas Leslie!! I especially love the idea about giving your children some unstructured play time this week. It’s so important that we not keep our children busy every second of every day! They need time to use their imaginations and grow and dream. Great job!!
