The Mom Tips are meant to enhance your life and role as a Christian wife, mom, discipler of your children, homemaker, and friend.
Simply pray about which ideas to try and keep this list on your fridge all week. Check them off as they are accomplished. You can also do more than what is suggested. We all are in different stages of our lives. You do you!
Do what you can and celebrate the fact that you added something new to enhance your life!
The Wise Woman Builds Her Spirit:
- Start each day this week with a grateful heart. Write down in your journal five things you feel grateful for every day. Also, get a pad of spiral bound index cards and write Psalm 119:105 on it. Keep it at your kitchen sink this week so that you can see it often and commit it to memory.
The Wise Woman Loves Her Husband:
- Choose a book to read together as a couple. Set aside a specific time together to discuss what you are learning and experiencing from your reading. Some great suggestions are The Heavenly Man by Brother Yun, The 4:8 Principle: The Secret to a Joy-filled Life by Tommy Newberry, and Crazy Love by Francis Chan and Danae Yankoski.
The Wise Woman Loves Her Children:
- Have a S’mores night with your children to teach them scripture! Gather up the graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows and head outside. Use your backyard fire pit or grill to roast the marshmallows. While eating your yummy treat, teach your children Hebrews 12:28-29: “…God is a consuming fire.” God’s fire completely transforms us, just as fire transforms marshmallows and chocolate into delicious goodness!
The Wise Woman Cares For Her Home:
- Focus on setting a beautiful table, complete with candles and centerpieces. Decor and music can make a regular weeknight dinner fun!
