Summer Mom Tips Week 7

Summer Mom Tips Week 7

“The wise woman builds her house.” Proverbs 14:1a

The Mom Tips are meant to enhance your life and role as a Christian wife, mom, discipler of your children, homemaker, and friend.

Pray about which ideas to try and keep this list on your fridge all week. Check them off as you accomplish them. Complete all of the Mom Tips or pick one to finish. We all are in different stages of our lives. You do you!

Do what you can and celebrate the fact that you added something new to enhance your life!

The Wise Woman Builds Her Spirit:

  • Every morning this week challenge yourself by not turning on your phone until you have spent 15 minutes in the presence of God. Use the time to pray and read your Bible.

The Wise Woman Loves Her Husband:

  • Journal about what you appreciate most about your husband this week. If you feel lead, share with your husband what you wrote about him.

The Wise Woman Loves Her Children:

  • Ask your children to identify a classmate from the school year who is often left out during recess time. Invite the child (and their mom) over for the afternoon to play and have Popsicles. Use this activity to remind your children to show the love of Jesus through our actions.

The Wise Woman Cares For Her Home:

  • Take time this week to organize under the sinks and drawers in your bathrooms. Throw away any expired or empty items. Fully wipe out all areas and place like items together.

  1. I love these ideas so much Leslie! It’s so important to not allow our phones to distract us away from our time with God!
    Thanks for the encouragement!
