“The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, ‘Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!'” John 1:29 (NKJV)
Jesus came to take away the sin of the world. We are not saved because of what we have done, but because of what He did for us. In this verse, John is proclaiming that Jesus is the ONE who has come for us. He was so bold and brace in His faith. Today as you ponder the idea that Christ came for your sin, practice being bold as an act of gratitude. Has God been tugging at your heart to share His Good News with someone? Or maybe you need to pray about who God has in your life that He wants you to minister to?

I just love this passage today Krystle! What is so cool about this time in history is that the Jews were celebrating Passover- remember Jesus was a Jew- they would have been selecting a white and spotless lamb to sacrafrice. Any blemish and it wasn’t chosen. These lambs were sacrificed and their blood would “cover”/ forgive their sins. Jews celebrate this every year. John called out that Jesus was the spotless lamb of God! It is PROFOUND! Jesus’ blood redeemed sin for mankind once and for all!!! 🙌🏻
