On Holy Wednesday some two thousand years ago, two very opposite but equally costly acts took place. A woman named Mary anointed Jesus’ feet with precious and costly oil, which we’re told is “worth a year’s wages.” At the same time, Judas snuck off to the Sanhedrin to sell Jesus for 30 pieces of silver. Join one of the Help Club’s favorite pastors, Daniel Grothe as he hosts a discussion on the costly nature of following Jesus and the constant temptation to use Jesus for our own advancement.
