The Wise Woman Knows Mom Tips: Week 2
“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.” 2 Peter 3:18
These Mom Tips are meant to enhance your life and role as a Christian wife, mom, discipler of your children, homemaker, and friend.
Pray about which ideas to try and keep this list on your fridge all week. Check them off as you accomplish them. Complete all of the Mom Tips or pick one to finish.
We all are in different stages of our lives. You do you! Do what you can and celebrate the fact that you added something new to enhance your life!
The Wise Woman Builds Her Spirit
• Set a Scripture as your phone’s wallpaper or lockscreen.
• Make a plan to exercise this week, even if it is just a 15 minute power-walk each day. Turn on
your headphones to worship music or a Biblical teaching.
The Wise Woman Loves Her Husband
• Enjoy a morning to connect with your family—Have a breakfast picnic! Get up before the kids
to set out the blanket, place settings, and make food. Keep it simple, and have fun with it! If the
weather is nice, have it in your backyard. Your husband will appreciate your effort to make his
morning special before he heads to work.
• If you want to feel closer to your spouse, do something for others with your spouse. Sounds a
little crazy, but it works! Even small acts of kindness performed side-by-side can bring you
closer together and help your marriage be more fulfilling.
The Wise Woman Loves Her Children
• Find a new perspective. Imagine yourself in your child’s shoes: how would you think, feel, and
view the world?
• Encourage positive self-talk among your children every day this week. Every time you hear
them say “I can’t” or “I’m not good enough,” stop and tell them that “they can” and “they are
good enough.” Remind them that they are children of God who are fearfully and wonderfully
made. Use Psalm 139:14 to help them.
The Wise Woman Cares For Her Home
• Pick one room in the house this week to deep clean—dust, disinfect, etc. Turn on some worship
music and use it as some alone time between you and God.
• Take some time to write down important dates on your calendar or planner.
