“And as they were frightened and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, ‘Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but has risen.’” LUKE 24:5-6a (ESV)
Reading this verse in the context of our lives today, how often do we feel hopeless in our circumstances and forget that we have Jesus living inside us, ready to help us? His death on the cross was not the end of His story! This is so easy to forget when we are overwhelmed with our lives! His death and resurrection are what makes it possible for us to continually lean on Him and receive His help and direction. As believers, we never need to fear or despair! Our God lives in us and is able to do far more than we can even imagine! Be encouraged today!

Amen! This is sooooo true Krystle!
I love how Ephesians 3: 19-20 puts it: “I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms.”
As Christ-Followers, we are not hopeless or helpless. Instead, in Jesus Christ, “…we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” Romans 8:37.
