Think Philippians 4:8!

“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable–if anything is excellent or praiseworthy–think about such things.” Phil 4:8.

 

The Mom Tips are meant to enhance your life and role as a Christian wife, mom, discipler of your children, homemaker, and friend.

Keep this list on your fridge for two weeks. Pick one or two things each week to try and check them off as you do them. :)  

You can also do more than what is suggested. You do you!  We all are in different stages of our lives.

Simply pray about which Mom Tips to do and do only those. Do what you can and celebrate the fact that you added something new to enhance your life! :)

-If you haven’t done so already, record the Bible verses on your phone that you picked that speak truth to the lies you have been hearing.

-When you wake up this week, do this exercise 3 days this week to help you to start your day on the right foot:

  • Think of 3 things that you are thankful for.
  • Determine each day that you are going to be joyful and content.
  • Remind yourself that you are strong! Ask God to help you to “be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.” Ephesians 6:10

-Prayerfully pray and ask God to show you how to love your husband in a way he feels loved. Find out what his love language is. If you haven’t already done so, read the book, “The Five Love Languages: How to Express Heartfelt Commitment to Your Mate” by Gary D. Chapman.

-Do the “5 o’clock pick-up” 4 days this week. Put on fun music, set a timer for 15 minutes, and you and your children go through all the main living areas and pick up everything everywhere. Give each of your children a basket to put their things in and then have them put it all away. Stop after 15 minutes.

-I love this idea from “The Fly Lady.” Before you go to bed for 4 nights this week, make sure your sink is clean. Get all of the dishes washed or in the dishwasher. Turn the dishwasher on. When you wake up in the morning, rejoice knowing that your dishes are put away and you are ready for your day!
