Mom Tip Saturday: Christmas Date

Hey Mamas!

Each week, we share a Mom Tip to help you run your household with more efficiency, grace, and love!

Start a new yearly tradition with your husband! Have an annual “Christmas Date Night” consisting of one Christmas tradition he loves and one tradition that you love!

Throughout history, the dynamic between a man and a woman in marriage has been a bit of a mystery. However, God designed marriage to be a beautiful earthly representation of His love! Making intentional time for our spouse during the holidays is more important now than it has ever been. The world says holidays are stressful, packed with to-do’s, and over the top! But God says the holidays are for family, connecting, and Jesus!
Make time for your husband, and show him that you care. Pick a favorite Christmas activity that he enjoys, and do it together! Then allow him to experience something you love this season and do that activity too! Plan an evening or day for you both to enjoy one another’s company and share in something that will hopefully become a tradition for you to enjoy as a couple for the rest of your lives together!
“That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.” Genesis 2:24 NIV
We pray you rejoice in God’s love this season!
