Hello Friends,
I hope you are feeling blessed from leaning into God and focusing on His Word this Lenten season. For five more weeks, we invite you to “Come to the Garden.” Between now and Easter, simply spend 15 minutes a day, 5 days a week reading the Bible. Use the journal pages in The Wise Woman Loves to write what God puts on your heart: prayers, thoughts about what you read, Scriptures that stand out to you, and whatever else you hear from God. If you are artistically-inclined, then use artwork to express what is on your heart; you do you!
Our goal is to set aside time daily to be still and listen to the Lord, allowing His Word to renew our spirits each day. Romans 12:2 (MSG) advises us: “Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out.”
The excitement of egg hunts, Easter brunch, and chocolate bunnies can overshadow the true meaning of Easter, but it doesn’t have to. Let’s “Come to the Garden” and set aside time for the Lord every single day, allowing Him to teach us and grow us. This quiet time with God will help us stay focused on our Savior’s sacrifice while partaking in the fun!
Have a wonderful season of Lent!
With love,
Heather Doolittle and the Help Club for Moms Team
