Mom to Mom with Jennifer

“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” James 1:5

Dear Sister,

Mothers love their children. There is no question about that. We would lay down our lives to save our children. We will sacrifice so that they do not have to go without, and the thought of losing them strikes fear to our very core. We love them, oh yes, we love them, but do we love them well? That does not come as easily. Loving our children well takes discipline, forethought, and intentionality. Loving them well takes the power of the Holy Spirit.

I am so thankful for the way the Help Club for Moms team is always pointing us to Jesus. They say over and over, “Pray and ask God…pray and ask God.” He knows your situation. He has all the answers. James 1:5 says, “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”

Each of our stories, our puzzles, is different. No two are alike. Chances are what works for one mom may not work for another. And that is why we need to pray and ask God for wisdom in our situations. We need Him to lead us and guide us in the way we should go. Isaiah 40:11b says, “He gently leads those that have young.”

I pray that as you read these studies, you will cling to that promise. I pray you will hear the voice of the Lord and that He will show you ways you can intentionally love your children well. With God all things are possible!

Love and blessings,
Jennifer Valdois and The Help Club For Moms Team
