Mom To Mom: Mari Jo

Dear Mama,
Your children are growing up so quickly—enjoy every minute you have with them. Though you may not hear it from important people in our culture today, what you are doing is the MOST important job in the world! Your endless serving of your family is an ETERNAL investment only a heavenly God can fully notice and reward. You are filling and storing up treasures in HEAVEN as you selflessly love and give.

The older I get, the more I realize “motherhood” is a precious gift from The Lord, a beautiful treasure with an eternal reward from His gracious hand. We are wise to be thankful for this opportunity as mothers! Let’s purpose in our hearts to embrace everything it has to offer. As we give it our best shot, we can trust God to bring forth beautiful, lasting fruit from our intentional labor.

With love,
Mari Jo Mast and the Help Club for Moms Team

“If you are wise and understand God’s ways, prove it by living an honorable life, doing good works with the humility that comes from wisdom.” James 3:13 (NLT)

Mari Jo, her husband Kim and family left everything that was familiar to them 13 years ago to move to beautiful Colorado. They live on a mini-farm which includes Snickers (a small Yorkie-Poo), arooster named Cracker Jack, and 23 chickens who supply them with fresh eggs every day! It is their desire to allow all 7 of their children to live outside of the box, to pursue Jesus and follow their God-given desires for His greater purpose. Two are happily married to spouses who are greatly loved. They have a sweet little Grandson and a little Granddaughter will be added this summer!

Mari Jo had an encounter with the living God in 2000, and was freed from the bondage of legalism. She is passionate about Jesus and his love, and desires for everyone to know He is alive!
