Mom To Mom: Rachel

Dearest Sister,

Welcome to the week of Thanksgiving! We are so glad you are here. Thankfulness and happiness are contagious. People who demonstrate these two traits are a joy to be around! I yearn to be one of these people, and I’m sure you do too. I want to be a mom, wife, and friend who radiates gratefulness and points those closest to me toward Jesus.

This Thanksgiving, your life is most likely a mixture of pleasure and hardship. Despite what your week may look like, you are called to be thankful in every season. “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus” (1 Thessalonians 5:18).

Please remember, mama, that we are so incredibly thankful for you! As a team, we are praying for you this week. Our prayer is for your heart to be filled with contentment, gratitude, and an overwhelming sense of peace. The tone of your home is set by you, and this Thanksgiving has the chance to be a tremendously special one if you start each day with a simple prayer:

You are my God, and I will praise you! You are my God, and I will exalt you! Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.” (Psalm 118:28-29 NLT)

Love,

Rachel Jones and the Help Club For Moms Team
