Mom to Mom with Leslie

“Now may the Lord of peace himself give you his peace at all times and in every situation.” 2 Thessalonians 3:16 (NLT)

Dear Help Club Moms,

Merry Christmas! One of my favorite things to do around Christmas time is turn off all the lights when it gets dark and bask in the glow of the Christmas tree. Just sitting there in the peace and quiet, enjoying the moment is something that I have loved since I was a little girl. It brings such a calm to my otherwise chaotic mind. I can spend hours in that quiet, peaceful place.

My prayer for you in the moment you are reading this letter is that your home is filled with peace this Christmas season. The hustle and bustle of December can be overwhelming for us moms, and often we get caught up in the whirlwind of the holidays. We forget to slow down
and enjoy those we love most, our family.

Do you have a place to actively seek peace this Christmas season? A place where you can calm your thoughts and open your heart to what the Lord has in store for you? I urge you to take extra moments this holiday season and seek the peace that only comes through a relationship
with Jesus Christ. Micah 5:5 tells us “He will be our Peace.” Let this verse lead you through the Christmas season, guiding your thoughts and actions.

Peace and Joy,
Leslie Leonard and The Help Club For Moms Team

“I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day
Their old familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet the words repeat
Of peace on earth, good will to men.”
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, from the poem
“I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day”
