Summer Mom Tips Week 6

Summer Mom Tips Week 6

“The wise woman builds her house.” Proverbs 14:1a

The Mom Tips are meant to enhance your life and role as a Christian wife, mom, discipler of your children, homemaker, and friend.

Pray about which ideas to try and keep this list on your fridge all week. Check them off as you accomplish them. Complete all of the Mom Tips or pick one to finish. We all are in different stages of our lives. You do you!

Do what you can and celebrate the fact that you added something new to enhance your life!

The Wise Woman Builds Her Spirit:

  • Journal the following questions this week: What are my strengths? What are my values? What is my proudest accomplishment?

The Wise Woman Loves Her Husband:

  • Make time for your husband this week. Go out on a date night or simply connect over tea after the kids have gone to bed. Share about what is pressing on your heart with your husband.

The Wise Woman Loves Her Children:

  • When disciplining your kids this week, try to use words of affirmation. Instead of saying “Stop whining right now,” say, “You look upset. Do you need a hug?”

The Wise Woman Cares For Her Home:

  • Straighten up and clean out your linen closet. Donate or throw any towels and sheets you no longer use. Consider downsizing the amount of linens you keep on hand.

  1. I love these ideas! This one is my favorite: “When disciplining your kids this week, try to use words of affirmation. Instead of saying “Stop whining right now,” say, “You look upset. Do you need a hug?””

What a great way to parent! Thank you!
