Joy can be so hard to find in your heart when you spend all day serving others. Give, give, give; that is truly all we as moms get accomplished some days! Before we know it, weariness sets in and our flesh starts to take over our thoughts, making us want more time for ourselves.
I’m here to tell you, not only is it extremely hard to continually be at the service of all of those around you, but it is seemingly impossible to do it all on your own! Friend, we have a Savior who is ready and waiting for us to simply hand it over to Him! God is a good, good, Father. So good, that He will take any suffering we have and turn it into something beautiful, if we ask! We can do anything with the strength of Jesus! He takes our mundane mothering and turns it into the joyous gift it truly is!

I am so thankful that I get to share life on this earth with my loving husband, Matt, and our three bright, spirited children. I was raised on a dairy farm, experienced school in the “big city” (O-H!) and have since settled down in my hometown, where I am active in my small-town church.
I know firsthand that the Lord is good, ready to forgive, and full of unfailing love for all who ask for His help!
