Mom Tip Saturday: Praying for a Friend

Hey Mamas!

Each week, we share a Mom Tip to help you run your household with more efficiency, grace, and love!

“Pray and say “God please bring a praying friend to me.” Watch and see who God brings to you. Step out in faith and ask her to pray once a week for ten minutes.”

“True friends are great riches” – Unknown

“A true friend is a forever friend.” – George MacDonald

“A friend that money can’t buy” -Unknown

How hard is it in today’s world to find a true friend? I think we can all agree that the answer is “nearly impossible!” The truth is, we all need a friend. Maybe you have been searching for one and feel defeated in your efforts. Pray to God that He brings you a Christ-loving friend! Keep praying and do not lose hope. Your Father sees the areas in your life that need tending, and He will send you a friend that you can walk this road with when you ask Him!

Once God blesses you with a friend, it’s important to maintain that relationship. As your friendship blossoms, keep praying for your friend! Pray for her heart and her family, pray that you may both be a good friend to one another. Pray that God “clothes you in compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience,” and that you can “bear with each other and forgive one another as the Lord forgives you.” (Colossians 3:12-13).

“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:11 (ESV)

Love and prayers,
