Mom Tip Saturday: Thanksgiving Family Journal

Hey Mamas!

Each week, we share a Mom Tip to help you run your household with more efficiency, grace, and love!

Create a Thanksgiving journal that can be added to each year. Pass it around the table every Thanksgiving to have your guests record their gratitude. This makes beautiful memories for years!

What a wonderful idea! Think of yourself, 10, 15, 20 years down the road, opening this journal and being able to reread all of the blessings the Lord bestowed upon you and the ones you love! God never gets tired of hearing our praises! And recording these lovely sentiments is a great way to bless someone in a time of need.
Sharing in one another’s blessings and gratitude can be very encouraging for someone in their walk with the Lord. This is a truly a wonderful example to be able to show your children the importance of being thankful to God in their lives! As we go about this time reflecting, let us not forget that the letters from the Apostles that we read today in the new testament were like this, recorded as a means to encourage those who needed it. Here is an excerpt from Acts where the congregation had received a letter from the Apostles themselves!
“And when they had read it, they rejoiced because of its encouragement,” Acts 15:31
We pray you rejoice in God’s love this season!
