“The wise woman builds her house.” Proverbs 14:1a
The Wise Woman Builds Her Spirit
Pray 1 Corinthians 13:4-5, 7-8 each day this week. Ask God to help you love well. If you are having trouble having a regular quiet time with God, pray and ask God to help you. Use the weekly plan sheet at end of this book and write in your week’s schedule and times for your Bible study each day. Start with short, 15-minute quiet times. Ask God to help you to stay focused this week, and make time with God a priority.
The Wise Woman Loves Her Husband
Plan a date night with your husband this week. If your budget allows a babysitter and a night out, take advantage of the time alone together. If not, plan a special evening at home, after the children are tucked in for the night. Play a board game, watch a favorite movie, or try your hand at a Pinterest DIY project together.
The Wise Woman Loves Her Children
Read the Bible with your children this week. Set aside one or two afternoons to read aloud from the Word. Let your children color pictures while you read. This simple activity will help them fidget less while they are listening.
The Wise Woman Cares For Her Home:
Visit your local farmers market. This is a great way to save money on your grocery budget, try new foods, and support your local businesses. My family often plans a day around it, and my children enjoy looking at crafts and tasting samples.
