Mom Tips: Summer of Joy Week One

The Mom Tips are designed to help you to grow closer to Jesus, offer new ideas to help you to grow in your relationships with your husband and children, and establish a Christ-centered home. At the beginning of each week, simply pray about which tips to try and check them off as you accomplish them. Completing them all or doing only one tip is just fine! As we say in the Help Club, you do you!!

The Wise Woman Builds Her Spirit

Memorize or place the following quote in an obvious place: “When joy is a habit, loving people is a reflex” by Bob Goff. Practice joy with your people this week. Also, download a voice recording app on your phone. If you do not have a smartphone, buy an inexpensive voice recording device, and use this app or device to replay quotes and Scriptures you’re working on memorizing each week.

The Wise Woman Loves Her Husband

Pray for your husband today. Thank God for him and his influence in your life. Ask God to fill him with the Holy Spirit to guide him through his day. You can even ask your husband how you can be praying for him this week. Then write his prayer requests in your journal or phone, and purpose to pray for him as much as you can. Set reminders on your phone so you won’t forget!

The Wise Woman Loves Her Children

Pack a picnic for your children and head to a local park or open space. Take time with your children to appreciate the beauty of the world God created; stay and play too.

The Wise Woman Cares For Her Home

Create a specific space for all your children’s outdoor toys and equipment in your garage or backyard. This will make cleanup easier, and your children will always know where to look for their items.
