“The wise woman builds her house.” Proverbs 14:1a
The Wise Woman Builds Her Spirit
Journal the following questions this week: What are my strengths? What are my values? What is my proudest accomplishment?
The Wise Woman Loves Her Husband
Call or text your husband at work this week. Let him know he was on your mind and that you love him. Simply take a moment out of your day to encourage your husband, asking nothing in return. You and he will feel blessed! Also, try to get out of the habit of criticizing your husband. Take a day this week and go the entire day without criticizing his actions. This simple change in thought will bless both of you and strengthen your marital bond.
The Wise Woman Loves Her Children
When disciplining your kids this week, try to use words of affirmation. Instead of saying, “Stop whining right now,” say, “You look upset. Do you need a hug?” Also, when saying “Yes” or “No” this week, make it a point to let the decision stand. Do not go back on your word. Let your yes mean yes, and your no mean no.
The Wise Woman Cares For Her Home
Straighten up and clean out your linen closet. Donate or throw away any towels and sheets you no longer use. Consider downsizing the amount of linens you keep on hand.
