Mom To Mom: Leslie Easter Week 3

Dear Friends,

I hope that you are enjoying “Come to the Garden.” Easter is such a special time of year. As followers of Christ around the nation and world, we get to celebrate our risen Savior. What a fantastic reason to celebrate!!

My family celebrates Easter several ways. We read the Bible and Easter themed books, decorate sugar cookies, and have a big family dinner. We take time to recognize the ultimate gift our Savior Jesus Christ gave us: Eternal Life with no strings attached. I know that I find his gift that was so freely given overwhelming at times. What does your family do that is special during Easter?

I love how we are focusing on caring for our spiritual gardens during this very special time. How is your garden coming along? Are you taking the time to care for all areas of your garden? Martin Luther once said “Our Lord has written the promise of resurrection, not in books alone but in every leaf of springtime.” Take a moment to look at the budding trees and plants. Can you see the beauty all around you? I pray that you take the time to nurture and care for yourself during this Lenten season. Spend extra time praying and meditating over the words of the Bible. I know that I am making this a priority during this busy season.

I am so happy you decided to join us for Easter. He is risen!!
