Mom to Mom with Deb

“Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.” Psalm 119:105 (NLT)

Hello, Help Club Mamas!

Oh, how thankful I feel to be on this amazing journey of sharing the always relevant and continuously articulate Word of God together with you!! Even though we may not be face-to- face with each other, I pray this journey of getting to know Jesus more intimately will knit our hearts together and make us feel close, even though we may be miles apart.

I cannot express how much the words of the Bible have meant to me over the years. They sustained me when I felt lost as a young mom with no clue how to have a Christian home and family, brought me comfort when I struggled with fear and anxiety, and spoke to my heart about the deep love of Jesus when I needed to feel accepted and loved. I would not be the person I am today without the life-giving Scriptures.

I am so grateful to my sweet mentor, Shirley Swim, who sat me down years ago, as a new mom, with a weekly plan sheet and taught me the importance of planning my week and how to set aside a daily time to read the Bible and pray. She said this one habit would change my life and help me be a good wife and mom. Shirley was right!

How about you? Would you like to instill one habit that can truly change your life and help you become the Christian woman, wife, and mom you were created to be? Prayerfully set aside a time each day in which you meet with your Heavenly Father who loves you and your family more than you would ever know. He knows your children, your husband, your circumstances, and what you need better than you do. He longs to speak to your heart about His undying love and care. Let Him love you and help you. We are praying for you!

Blessings and Love,
Deb Weakly and the Help Club for Moms Team
