The Beloved Mom Day One: Mom, You are Dearly Loved by Jesus

Recently, I have felt the Lord leading me to pray more deeply for moms around the world. As a women’s ministry leader, my heart breaks for mothers who feel lost and alone, like they don’t know what to do. I remember feeling this way as a mom; it is truly overwhelming.

As I prayed, I felt the Lord leading me to ask Him for a word of encouragement to share with mothers who want to know Jesus more deeply. I am so excited to share them here with you.

I once had a dream where God spoke to me so clearly and said, “Tell your moms that I love them.” It was the most vivid-sounding dream I have ever had. I even got up out of bed and texted myself so that I wouldn’t forget.

During my quiet time that morning, the Lord gave me an encouraging word.

I feel the Lord wants me to say…

Dearly Beloved One, You have no idea how much Jesus loves you. Living on this earth, with all its cares and the wounds you have received, makes it hard for you to truly know His love.

Ask the Lord to teach you about His love. Ask Him to show you how wide and long and high and deep His love is for you. It will take a lifetime and beyond for you to know the love of Christ fully, but you can understand it partially, and even partially will be so much more as you ask Him to teach you about His love.

When you begin to know how much Jesus loves you, you will be able to love others more fully and unconditionally. His love will turn your heart, which can become hardened from life’s battles to a soft heart filled with love, even for your enemies.

Knowing the love of Jesus more deeply will help you love your family and others more sweetly and without demands or control.

Dear one, God wants you to learn His love so you can let go of others- they cannot love you like He does. Let them go- give up control, humble yourself, and learn His love so you can love the people in your life who are difficult to love. They need it the most.

Love, love, love.

Know the love of Jesus more deeply.

Love others without holding back.

Let Jesus love you.

“And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.” Ephesians 3:18-19 NLT
