The Beloved Mom Day Six: For the Mom Who Doesn’t Know What to Do

Dear one, the Lord wants you to know that He is there with you when you feel like you don’t know what to do.

You might feel at a loss about a child who is disobedient or distant, and you don’t know how to reach them. Or perhaps your marriage feels dry and stale, and you feel the walls between you.

The enemy will cause you to feel anxious or ashamed. But God wants you to know that He will set you free from all anxiety and help you with whatever situation you need help with.

Go to God today. Sit with Him. Write down what you are struggling with in your journal, read the Bible, and then write down the Scriptures that stand out to you. Pray those Scriptures out loud right back to God. Write them on your bathroom mirror with a dry-erase marker or record them on your phone. When you begin to feel anxious or like you don’t know what to do, go back to those Scriptures and pray them out loud again.

God WILL give you wisdom and help when you ask! He is your ever-present help in your time of need!

“If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you….” James 1:5 NLT

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” Matthew 7:7 NIV
