There’s a Kind of Love That God Only Knows

Mamas, sometimes, when we face obstacles, trials, and difficult situations, it is human nature to try and hide what we are going through from our family and friends because we are embarrassed or we feel fearful that we will be judged or that others will see us in a negative light. We may find ourselves building up a wall around us, brick by brick, so that no one can see what is really going on.

Instead of protecting ourselves from an onslaught of potential judgment, we also wall out the possibility of help and hope. And not just from those people in our lives, but also from our Heavenly Father. Before you put another brick in the wall I want you to remember one thing—God knows what you are going through.

The knowledge that God knows should bring you such peace, my dear sisters. You see when you acknowledge that God knows what is happening you can exhale all the worry and fear and inhale His glorious grace and steadfast mercy. For you are not alone as you face that mountain of trouble and you can be assured that you will not drown in that ocean of pain.

No matter what it is that you are going through, remember that God is neither surprised nor overwhelmed by it. He is not mad or disappointed in you. He will not push you away or turn His back on you. When you are lost, He will leave the 99 to find you and bring you home. There is nothing you could do to lose God’s marvelous love for you.

Jesus is concerned about every detail of your life. Whether your struggle is big or small, He already knows it just as He knows the number of hairs on your head and the number of grains of sand on the beach. Come to Him today, just as you are, and be content knowing that He is aware of all that troubles you. He wants to talk with you about it. He wants to show you things and give you the answers you seek.

You are not alone. God will go before you and He will never leave you—because He knows!
Blessings as you learn to trust in the God who knows it all,
