The Wise Woman Knows Mom Tips: Week 3

The Wise Woman Knows Mom Tips: Week 3

“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.” 2 Peter 3:18

These Mom Tips are meant to enhance your life and role as a Christian wife, mom, discipler of your children, homemaker, and friend.

Pray about which ideas to try and keep this list on your fridge all week. Check them off as you accomplish them. Complete all of the Mom Tips or pick one to finish.

We all are in different stages of our lives. You do you! Do what you can and celebrate the fact that you added something new to enhance your life!

The Wise Woman Builds Her Spirit
• Set a Scripture as your phone’s wallpaper or lockscreen.
• Make a plan to exercise this week, even if it is just a 15 minute power-walk each day. Turn on
your headphones to worship music or a Biblical teaching.

The Wise Woman Builds Her Spirit
• Ask a mom and her kids on a play date.
• Write Romans 12:2 on your chalkboard, mirror or a notecard to keep at your kitchen sink.
Commit to memorizing the verse by the end of the week. For further study and growth, read
Romans 1:18–3:20 and journal about how to cultivate a renewed mind.

The Wise Woman Loves Her Husband
• Write 1 Corinthians 16:13 on a notecard, and slip it into your husband’s work bag. Pray for your
husband to have courage in all that he does, in and out of the home.
• Take time this week to pray with your husband. Ask God how He wants to shape you as parents
and how to set the tone of your home.

The Wise Woman Loves Her Children
• Every day this week, ask your kids something new. Instead of “How was your day?” or “How was
school?,” ask something like “How can I pray for you tonight?” “What was the best part of your
day?” What did you do to have fun today?” or “What did you do to grow closer to God?”
• Offer a blessing over your children this week. Look them in the eyes, touch them with your
hands, tell them you love them, and pour into them all your heart desires to say. Do not worry
about what to say; the Holy Spirit will guide you.

The Wise Woman Cares For Her Home
• Know what’s for dinner by 9 AM every day this week.
• Double your recipe for dinner one night. Box up leftovers for tomorrow, or take a meal to a single
or elderly neighbor.
