Mom Tip Saturday

Hey Mamas! We are so excited to share this week’s Mom Tip Saturday!

Each week, we will highlight a Mom Tip to help you run your household with more efficiency and grace.

This week’s  Mom Tip is from our summer book, The Wise Woman Enjoys:

When disciplining your kids this week, try to use words of affirmation. Instead of saying, “Stop whining right now,” say, “You look upset. Do you need a hug?”

Sometimes, it is easier to tell others what they are doing wrong instead of building them up with words of affirmation, and often, our children can be the ones we criticize the most!

This week at the Help Club, we want to all prayerfully work on changing the words and the way we speak to our kids. Before you correct your kids, take a deep breath, pray, and let His words roll off your tongue like honey to your children.

“Gracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body.” Proverbs 16:24 ESV

Love and Prayer,
