“Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife and the two shall become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two, but one flesh.” Mark 10:7-8 ESV
Hey Mamas!
This week’s Mom Tip comes from our devotional workbook, The Help Club for Moms.
“Journal for a few minutes about what you love most about your husband. Think of his best qualities and his strengths, and list them all out.”
Marriage can be a tricky subject to talk about. But God created it to be a beautiful and timeless adventure. When we can sit and think about our husbands in the ways that we love them, it opens our hearts to remind us why we fell in love with and married our husbands years ago. Being able to turn to this list of his best qualities and strengths in times of confusion can be a positive anchor to your marriage.
When it comes to marriage, there can definitely be seasons of ease and seasons of difficulty. Remembering your “why” in your marriage will keep you afloat during the storms that can come. For everything in your marriage, turn to God for answers and guidance- He is the Great Counselor!
