“When your husband asks you to do something this week, do it with a smile. A simple smile can show that you love to help and serve him.”

Mama, I think you know the exact times I am referring to! Those times that you could probably give any reaction other than a smile! My dear friend, I’m here to tell you from trial (and error!) that smiling while serving is one of those “little” things we can do to improve our marriage and deepen our love for our husband.

But how? I like to think that every time I ask Jesus for help, He smiles as He rolls up His sleeves to help me.  So friend, isn’t it comparable to show that same grace and kindness to the one human on earth that is a part of you? It is possible that this “little” display of affection can quickly become a relationship-changing habit. After all, becoming an equal partner with our husband is the most beautiful display of God’s love and affection towards us. So go ahead- put on that beautiful smile that is only reserved for your man, and make him feel like the one-and-only special person he really is in your life!
