If there was one emotion I most consistently felt in my parenting, it was this one- I felt lost and alone so frequently. Even now, as I help lead Help Club, I still have seasons where I feel alone. I believe it is a trap from the enemy, so the Lord has led me to overcome with worship.
When I feel alone, I sing powerful songs that remind me that Jesus is always with me and helping me every step of the way. It really helps!
As I was praying for you, dear ones, who might be feeling lost and alone, I feel the Lord has an encouraging word for you. He wants me to share…
Dear one, you are not alone. Even though you feel alone and isolated, you are never alone.
On your darkest days, the Lord is with you. On your best days, the Lord is with you.
He wants you to come to Him with your problems- your loneliness, your isolation, your failures, your fear and anxiety, your sickness, your marriage problems, your insecurities with your kids- everything.
He longs for you to turn to Him; He will help you. Ask Him for ideas and strategies to help you in this season.
Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you; He is everything you need!
“Jesus looked at them intently and said, ‘Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God, everything is possible.'” Matthew 19:26 NLT
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10 NIV
